Stan Mills, age 54, of Union City, Indiana, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026.
Stan was born on October 14, 1971, in Union City, Indiana, to the late Richard E. & Linda J. (Davis) Mills.
Stan is survived by his wife of 31 years, Aimee (Hunt) Mills; children, Tyler & Laura Mills of Kissimmee, Florida, Hailey Mills & fiancé, Sam Jeatran of Bloomington, Indiana, and Lyndsee Mills of Union City, Indiana; sister & brother-in-law, Leslie & Gary Zimmers of Union City, Indiana; niece, Landry & Dylan Doppler; and great nephew, Brooks Doppler of Union City, Ohio; brother-in-law, Joshua & Stacy Hunt of Losantville, Indiana; brother-in-law, Jacob & Lark Hunt; and niece, Laela Hunt and nephew, Grey Hunt, of Clarksville, Tennessee.
Stan graduated from Union City Community High School in 1990. Stan served in the U.S. Army Reserve. He was a correctional case worker. Stan loved spending time with his family, taking care of his lawn, listening to music, evenings around a campfire, and being outdoors.
A celebration of Stan’s life will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the funeral home.
