DARKE COUNTY — Darke County veterans interested in joining the 2026 Darke County Veterans Services Washington, D.C., trip are encouraged to register soon, as only a limited number of seats remain.
The annual trip, organized through the Darke County Veterans Services office, provides veterans and their spouses the opportunity to visit the nation’s capital and several of the country’s most significant military memorials and historic sites while traveling with fellow veterans.

Highlights of the trip include visits to Arlington National Cemetery and the National Mall’s major military memorials, including the World War II Memorial, Korean War Memorial and Vietnam War Memorial.
The itinerary also features stops at the National Museum of the United States Marine Corps, the National Museum of the United States Army, the Air Force Memorial, the Pentagon Memorial, Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and the Flight 93 National Memorial.

The annual trip offers participants the opportunity to honor the service and sacrifice of America’s veterans while exploring locations that preserve the nation’s military history.
Veterans interested in reserving one of the remaining seats are encouraged to contact the Darke County Veterans Services office as soon as possible.
