DARKE COUNTY – On Tuesday, July 7th the Darke County 4-H Beef Club met in the show arena at the fairgrounds for their monthly meeting. The pledges were said and the theme for the meeting was Red, White and Blue.
Theme winners were Elaina Schlechty, Jessa Barga and Leo Barga. Members received their club t-shirts. The upcoming skill-a-thon and barn decorating were discussed. The theme for barn decorations at the fair is Celebrating America’s 250th birthday. After the meeting, members participated in Barn Olympics and had ice cream for a snack.
The club participated in the Annie Oakley Days parade on July 25th.
The Darke County 4-H Club’s next meeting will be August 4th in the show arena at 7 PM.
