Darke County 4-H Beef Club Holds Spring Meetings

DARKE COUNTY – The Darke County 4-H Beef Club met on April 7th at the home of Paige Gehret. The members participated in a game of tug of war. Discussed at the meeting was the upcoming trash bash and Quality Assurance. Advisor, Gary Gehret gave a demonstration on daily animal care.

On May 5th, the club met at the BRC Community Center. Members talked about 4-H camp and practiced the skill-a-thon. OSU Extension Educator, Mercedes McFarland did a Quality Assurance presentation.

The next meeting will be held on June 2nd at the Greenville Cemetery for the club’s community service project.
