DARKE COUNTY – On Tuesday, at approximately 11:56 a.m., Darke County Deputies, along with Bradford Fire and Rescue, responded to 9811 Grandview Dr in Bradford on an ATV accident with injuries
Preliminary investigation revealed a 2025 Honda Pioneer 700 side-by-side operated by Thomas Sargent (73) of Bradford, was backing up and struck his wife, Teresa Sargent (72), who was kneeling behind the side-by-side. Teresa was extracted from underneath the side-by-side and transported by EMS to Upper Valley Hospital for her injuries.
This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s office.
