GREENVILLE – The Wayne Theatre, located in Greenville, Ohio, was fortunate to have been chosen to play ‘Christmas Eve’ on November 6, a movie based on seven incredible true stories of how people found Jesus on Christmas Eve.
This is a Non-denominational faith-based movie. The nationwide release won’t be until the fall of 2026. Mike Jones (owner of The Wayne Theatre) spoke to Timothy Chey, the LA Producer. Timothy said he will try to attend one of the shows, which is unheard of that a Producer would fly from LA to a small-town theatre.
We are the only theatre in the Midwest chosen to play this movie and we are trying to get the word out about the movie and that we will be playing it (for 2 weeks). With it being the start of the Christmas Season, this inspirational movie will put Christ back into Christmas.
This is a feel-good movie that people want and need in the world we live in today.
A little background on us: we are a mom & pop theatre that opened up two years ago. We play first-run movies. We try to provide family-oriented movies, but let’s be honest, there are not a lot of those being made in Hollywood.
