DARKE COUNTY – The Darke County Agricultural Society recently held a work session to review the 2025 Fair grandstand events. Board members reflected on what went well, identified areas for improvement, and began brainstorming ideas for the 2026 lineup. More details will be shared with the community as plans take shape in the coming months.
At a special meeting later that evening, the board also took action on several items:
Blacktop Project: Approved completion of blacktop work around the Community Education Center, which will also include installation of a tile and catch basin to improve drainage.
Office Renovations: Discussed updates to refresh and modernize the boardroom space.
Fair Manager/Secretary Position: Entered into executive session to continue reviewing qualifications and the hiring process for this key role.
The Society remains focused on maintaining and improving fairgrounds facilities, while also planning for the future success of the Great Darke County Fair.
