DARKE COUNTY – The Darke County Commissioners’ June 30, 2026, regular meeting started at 9:30 a.m. with Commissioners Aultman, Flatter, and Combs present. The Commissioners then approved the minutes from June 25.
The examination and allowance of bills were presented and approved. The vouchers from the 30th were: General fund $10,537.69; outside General funds $11,488.79; for a total of $22,026.48.
The 2027 General Fund Budget was approved with estimated appropriations of $49,442,168.69. A 15% increase in Health Insurance premiums was budgeted, but the actual amount will not be known until later on.
An expense request was sent by the JFS for Sarah Brubaker and Rhonda McKinna to attend the OCSPA Leadership training in Columbus on September 9th. The estimated cost is $450.00.
The Engineer sent a request to purchase a new copier from Loudy’s. It was approved. The purchase price was $2,144.91.
Amy Helm was approved as a Unit Support Worker for the DCJFS, effective July 13, 2026.
COUNTY OFFICES WILL BE CLOSED FRIDAY, JULY 3rd IN OBSERVANCE OF INDEPENDENCE DAY.
