GREENVILLE – Come and join us on July 6 at the VFW Post 7262 in Greenville as we raise money to support the Wounded Warrior Project. There will be a full day of live music from seven bands, basket raffles, 50/50 drawings, Darke County BBQ Cook-Off and we will be raffling off a 2007 Harley Davidson Fatboy.

There is a $10 entry fee per person. Food will be available during the event, including local favorite, Badge’s Barbeque and the newest local food truck, Pauline’s Filipino. Bring your friends and family out from 12-11 p.m. and help us raise money for the soldiers who were injured defending our great country!

“I wanted to organize this event for the Wounded Warrior Project because they were there to protect us and we should be there to help them now that they’re injured,” said event organizer Jamie Nickell. “I truly appreciate all the bands and people who are helping support the event… it couldn’t happen without them!”

Visit the 2024 Helping Heroes Facebook page for more information or send us an email at [email protected]. If you want to enter the BBQ Cook-Off click here. Entries will be accepted until June 29 in order to get an accurate count of how much meat will need to be provided. Winners Meat Market and King & Sons Poultry will be supplying the meats for the contest.
