On August 13, 2026, at approximately 9:25pm, Arcanum Fire, Arcanum Rescue, MICU and Darke County Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of STRT 49 and Hollansburg Sampson Road, Darke County, Ohio, in reference to a two-vehicle injury accident.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a black GMC Terrain being driven by Kelly King (45) of Clayton, Ohio was traveling southeast bound on STRT 49 when a white Ram Promaster 2500 being driven by Christopher Worthy (34) of Lithonia, Georgia attempted to turn onto Hollansburg Sampson Road from STRT 49, resulting in a head-on collision.
Christopher Worthy was transported to Miami Valley Hospital by Arcanum Rescue, while Kelly King was transported to Miami Valley Hospital by MICU. The severity of injuries for both Christopher Worthy and Kelly King is unknown at this time.
This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
