2 arrested in Greenville drug search warrant

GREENVILLE – On May 14, 2026, the Greenville Police Department obtained and executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1100 block of Washington Avenue.

The warrant stemmed from multiple reports of drug use, drug trafficking, and child endangerment at the residence.

Upon execution of the warrant, officers located 10 adults and two children under the age of two on the property. During the search, officers recovered drug paraphernalia, suspected narcotics, and a firearm.

As a result of the investigation, Diana E. Mitchell (34) of Greenville was arrested on an outstanding felony drug warrant
issued by the Darke County Common Pleas Court. Additional charges are pending.

Jimmy L. Cooley( 38) of Greenville was arrested and charged with Permitting Drug Abuse and Child Endangering, both misdemeanors of the first degree.

Brittney D. Stamper, 34, of Greenville, was charged with Permitting Drug Abuse and Child Endangering, both misdemeanors of the first degree.

This investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be filed as the case progresses.
