PREBLE COUNTY – On Friday, May 1, detectives executed a search warrant as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation at a residence in the 5000 block of State Route 320, south of New Paris.
Detectives seized a large amount of evidence, including approximately 38 grams of suspected cocaine, 25 pounds of suspected marijuana, over 600 THC vapes and cigars, over 100 THC cartridges/vials, THC oil and resin. Detectives seized multiple firearms and two vehicles, as well as U.S. currency. One suspect was arrested at the scene.
On Monday, May 5th, a Preble County Grand Jury indicted Elisha McCracken, (30) of New Paris, with Possession of Cocaine, a 1st Degree Felony, Trafficking in Hashish, a 2nd Degree Felony, Possession of Marijuana, a 3rd Degree Felony, Possession of Hashish, a 2nd Degree Felony, and Illegal Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a 4th Degree Misdemeanor.
Bond was set by the court and McCracken has posted bond, pending his next court appearance.
